Well you're out of luck, 'cos all we're serving here at Skint Vegan Towers is hemp milk with a scoop of Raw Power chocolate protein powder and 2 tbsp lime juice - just to confuse the hell out of your tastebuds!
Today's eating was fairly standard. Cereal for breakfast, soup for lunch and mac n' cheeze for dinner and Lord knows, I'm not going to post yet another pic of mac n' cheeze!
Instead, we'll turn to some weekend baking.
Instead, we'll turn to some weekend baking.
I made blackberry muffins from a recipe for blueberry muffins in 'La Dolce Vegan! They contained rolled oats too which I love as it provides my gorgeous girl with plenty of slow-release energy for the afternoon ahead.
One of my friend's mums was meant to come down to give me a quick tute on the sewing machine I own but am constantly frustrated by, so I baked a tasty citrus bundt cake with an orange water icing to offer my guest.
The lady in question wasn't able to come through, unfortunately, but on the bright side it meant there was more delicious tangy sponge to enjoy with a cuppa tea and 'Calamity Jane' yesterday afternoon. (I'm gay for Doris Day. There, I said it! There's no bad situation in my life that can't be resolved after a period of solitude drinking a lot of tea and watching Doris Day movies.) I used the recipe for Lemon Cake from 'How It All Vegan
Tomorrow: Rice and pea. The Jamaican post.

Lime juice? Cool!
I'll have to try the lime juice, sounds...intriguing.
I made muffins this weekend too. I have to hide them in the freezer so we (my dh and I) don't eat them all so I can pack them in lunches for the kids.
and i can never get enough mac n cheese posts. i love it!
It looks delish!
That orange icing is evil! Look at it dripping so provocatively!
I so need to come over to your house, everything you make looks delicious. I want a chocolate malt and an adorable muffin too!
I don't know, that sounds like it may even be better than a chocolate malt, if you ask me!
