Me and the family are just back from a lovely relaxing break in Fuerteventura - no TV, no Internet, just sun, sea, sangria and lots and lots of books. I got through David Peace's excellent 'Nineteen Seventy-Seven
' and 'Nineteen Eighty
', 'Project Everlasting
' and managed to start reading the funniest book about Steven Seagal and his movies I've ever found. Or rather, my brother has ever found - thanks for the great pressie again, Chris!
I managed to 'lose' our camera too, so somewhere on the windy island some pikey scumbag has themselves a new camera with a load of arty shots of my brown feet against the horizon at sunset.
All these events have led me to believe its time I took a little break from blogging. Not forever, but just for now. The eighteen month old boy who I started blogging about is now almost three and starting pre-school this August and my daughter - well, she just gets longer and hungrier, with more extra-curricular activities to add to her repertoire. I'll still be lurking around with interest on everyone elses' blogs, and will probably reappear in time for Vegan MoFo, so until then - until I get a new camera, I hope you all take care of yourselves and you loved ones, and keep on rollin'.

Well, what a bundle of mixed emotions this blog entry gave me! I'm so pleased you all had a lovely holiday, sorry for your camera being lost/stolen and horrified that you're not going to be blogging any more! I'll really miss your blog and I know lots of others will, too.
You had me at sangria! Enjoy your holiday and I'll look forward to your blog comeback tour!
Lame. I will miss your blog, but understand the need for a break. Please stay in touch and I will check you blog again around Vegan MoFo time.
Time is flying by, Arthur turns 3 in September and Baby Adam is crawling and turns 1 in October.
Take care DJ.

Penny, Theresa, Krys - thanks for your kind words. As the Terminator said: 'I'll be back... '
Aw DJ, I'm sorry about your camera, but enjoy your break! I'll look forward to some serious updates come October. (And in the meantime, I'll be sending you potty training updates because I know what you really need during this respite from blogging is news of other children's bowel movements. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise.) I send you hugs.
Sorry your camera is gone, that's no fun. Enjoy the bloggy break! We'll miss you :) I know how you feel, I'm on one too, has to be done!
Trina - look forward to swapping potty notes LOL!
HPP - Aww, thanx!! (^_^)
Hope you're having an amazing time!
Thanks, Melisser!
Pikey scumbag lol!
So sorry about your camera. I lost my camera when we went to a little Greek island off Rhodes. It was the most picturesque island I have ever seen in my life. But it's quite funny how the lack of photos of that trip has kept the memories more alive in my mind.
